Shakespeare on the Plaza

Shakespeare on the Plaza presented by the Vortex Theatre and The City of Albuquerque is one of the only Shakespeare festivals in the nation that takes place in the urban center of of a major US city. Heights Summerfest

A new season of Albuquerque Summerfest is underway, and we are proud sponsors. Join our solar team as we kick-off the annual Summerfest series with Heights Summerfest at North Domingo Baca Park from 5 – 10:30 p.m. Click here for event details. Summerfests are an Albuquerque tradition dating back to the 1980s. Summerfests are free community events around town. They feature children’s activities such as face painting, inflatables, and climbing walls. Adults can enjoy the microbrew garden, an artisan market full of handcrafted goods by local craftsmen, food trucks and more. It is fun for all ages.

Bees + Seeds Festival

The Bees + Seeds Festival is a family-friendly learning and interactive environment open to all. The free event will feature information and education on pollinators, seeds, food sustainability and environmental awareness. There are many activities for children including making seed murals with Seeds: A Collective Voice, planting seeds to take home and children’s art activities! The Seed Broadcast Truck will be on site to record your seed story and be sure to bring extra seeds for a seed exchange. The event also includes art vendors, guest speakers, live music, live art, poetry and other performances. Come to Tractor Brewery in Wells Park to celebrate pollinators, seeds, farmers and the healthy local foods that nourish us.
