Position: Construction Administrative Assistant

Supervisor: Senior Manager of Construction

Time: Full-time, non-exempt (hourly) based on experience

Summary Description:

The Construction Administrative Assistant will assist the Senior Manager of Construction with completing administrative duties during the company’s construction projects. This position will act as the liaison between the client, vendors, subcontractors and Senior Manager of Construction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Maintain a filing system
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Assist with field support when needed
  • Other administrative or clerical duties as assigned by manager


Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Prior construction and safety related experience is preferred
  • Prior solar related experience is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work product, and ability to multi-task under tight time pressures
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word and online programs to communicate and build reports
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Must be able to travel
